Sonos PLAYBAR

To launch Sonos’ new soundbar for music lovers we used long-time Sonos partner and musician Deadmau5. We wanted to continue illustrating the love of music in the home through fun, iconic, graphic portraiture of Joel with the PLAYBAR in a highly stylized home environment. Taking inspiration from Deadmau5’ live performances, we constructed a dark room lit from within using real custom-sculpted neon furniture. Now of course, he couldn't actually sit on the delicate neon so we shot dozens of plates and a lot of retouching went into creating the final pieces of art.
